So I thought why not start a Blog, link it to Facebook and Twitter. That way I can do short updates, let you guys know what's going on!
This is my mule. A cheap bike I ordered online. As things break I learn how to repair them. So far I got some flats, we have a lot of thorns. So I put in thorn resistant tubes and Mr Tuffy tire liners.
I use it to commute to work and back, do my grocery shopping and get stuff from the post office. To fit stuff I got a basket for the front, a bike rack for the rear, rear panniers and one of these elastic bands to slap on a package if needed.
A few items arrived today. A lovely S3 Vesa Local Bus graphics card, two DX4 100 MHz chips, one from Cyrix, the other one from SGS Thomson. The SGS Thomson should be identical to the Cyrix. Cyrix didn't have fabs, so they made deals with other companies, one of them was SGS Thomson. So SGS Thomson made CPUs for Cyrix, but in return was allowed to also make CPUs for themselves. I also got a game, not sure why I got it, I think it support Glide and was cheap. And finally a new PSU, a Corsair VS350, plenty of power for my retro projects!
