Cyrix 6x86 PR200+ Build
We are building a Cyrix 6x86 DOS Retro Gaming PC with Tseng ET6000 graphics, ESS Audio Drive and DreamBlaster X2 wavetable General MIDI board.
I will talk about the parts, show the software and BIOS setup. We will benchmark the machine and showcase some popular DOS games in VGA and SVGA resolution to see what this machine can do.
Games features are Wing Commander, Wing Commander III, Descent, Tomb Raider, System Shock, The Need for Speed and Pinball Illusions.
