Rage 6 / Radeon DDR / Radeon SDR / Radeon 7200
The very first Radeon! Initially called Rage 6, then Radeon DDR (there is also a Radeon SDR), and finally Radeon 7200.
ATI upset customers in releasing this card as Retail and OEM versions. Only the 64 MB retail version runs at faster 183 MHz for the core and clock. It is mostly this card that went to reviewers. Basically any other version, such as the 32 MB Retail as well as all OEM / bulk cards run a bit slower with 32 MB.
The card is Direct3D 7.0 and OpenGL compatible, but supports some features of Direct3D 8 and I was surprised to see it run games such as GTA III and Doom 3 although quite slowly. Some models have video inputs and outputs, others do not.
